Travel, What to Bring

Add These Items to your Travel Checklist

Along with the holiday season comes a lot of traveling. Whether you’ll be the passenger in a long car ride, or on the plane, add these items to your checklist for a more enjoyable experience.

The bag:
Always travel with a tote bag. You’ll be able to stuff your purse inside of it, along with other items you can’t do with out. Didn’t have time to apply your makeup before your flight? Throw in your cosmetics bag and a compact mirror. Considering I never travel solo, I use GG’s Gucci dog purse as my carry on tote, so that I have it to schlep her around in, once I reach my final destination. If you’re in the market for a travel bag, and you don’t need one that doubles as pet carrier, check out this one by Lululemon.

The Blanket:
There’s nothing worse than being stuck in the backseat of a car or on the plane, shivering! Rather than packing a full size blanket in my carry on, I bring along my Vinyasa scarf. This scarf is wearable in 10 different ways (including but not limited to: a scarf, a cardigan, a shawl, or a hoodie), and it’s compact. You can easily fold the vinyasa scarf into a small square so that it won’t take up too much room in your tote.

The Pillow:
If you don’t already own a u-shaped microbead pillow, order one here immediately. These pillows are GAME CHANGERS. Whether you’re reading a book, working on your laptop, or simply trying to doze off, one of these pillows will transform your level of comfort instantly. I recommend one with a snap button closure. Not only will this help keep your pillow in place while you wear it, but it also gives you the option to attach the pillow to the strap of your tote bag – freeing up valuable space.
