2015 Golden Globes: Best Dressed List

With the 72nd Golden Globe Awards in the books, I cannot help but comment on a few of my favorite red carpet looks! Here are my top three.

1.) Emma Stone: This ensemble is PERFECTION. I love a good pants look (if you can’t already tell from yesterday’s post “Can’t Get Enough Peplum”), and I love when celebrities, or women in general, are brave enough to rock one rather than a dress. Emma killed it in this jumpsuit by Lanvin. The bedazzled bodice adds a touch of glam to this piece – it balances out the tailored pants, and the over-sized sash adds just enough drama.

2.) Jennifer Lopez: never ceases to amaze. J. Lo. stopped people in their tracks wearing a gorgeous cape-like Zuhair Murad dress. This glistening gown was pleasing to the eye from every angle. The fit and flare silhouette perfectly showcased her just-right curves while the deep v neck and high slit showed off her youthful bronzed complexion. From the back, this dress could fool you. At a first glance you might think decked out potato sack…that it ain’t!

3.) Nancy O’Dell was beautiful in blue, by Angel Sanchez. This vibrant hue was exquisite against her skin and blonde hair. The one shoulder neckline with exaggerated ruffle took this simple dress to the next level. The hip hugging silhouette suited her well and the thigh high leg slit was an excellant way to break up the solid pattern. Pulled back hair and dramatic earrings were definitely the way to go.
