Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Parties and cookie swaps come hand-in-hand with the holiday season. While we all wish to participate, more times than not, time is a factor. Do you have enough time to prepare 5 dozen cookies?! Do you have enough time to crank out a spread of goodies for your house guests?! If time is precious, but you’ve already committed, this three step chocolate covered pretzel recipe is for you!

Here is what you’ll need:
1 bag pretzel rods
1 10 oz bag white chocolate chips
Assortment of sprinkles

Begin by melting chocolate chips over a double boiler. Once chocolate is creamy and spreadable, slather it over 3/4 of pretzel rod. While chocolate is warm, cover in sprinkles. Allow pretzels to dry on a lined cookie sheet (aluminum foil or wax paper will work). If you need to speed up the process, pop tray into the refrigerator for an hour or more.

Serve by the rod, or line a flower vase with decorative tissue paper and fill with pretzels. Enjoy!
