Pom Pom Beanie and Distressed Denim

If you follow me on Instagram, then you witnessed my Khloe Kardashian moment last Friday for New Year’s Eve. Long story short, I asked Kristin at the Red Chair Salon to give me Khloe hair and she nailed it. Anyway, I had another one over the weekend in my new pom pom beanie from Jess Lea Boutique, and gold earrings. I thought it was good enough to share.

I cannot stress enough the importance of accessorizing. Maybe I am preaching to the choir, but this look perfectly demonstrates how the right add-ons can transform a look. In all seriousness, without the pom pom beanie this outfit would be lacking pizzaz! When creating this look, I started out with a cute black and gold striped tee. Going for an edgy vibe, I paired the top with black distressed jeans – my answer for everything lately. While there is nothing wrong with jeans and a tee, I took it up a notch, incorporating a cape blazer into the mix. These toppers are quite possibly the chicest pieces of the season. Further embellishing the outfit with a tassel necklace, gold jewelry, and a taupe handbag, it is safe to say this black on black ensemble went from bland to fab in a matter or seconds.
