“What goes around comes around.” Chances are high that you’ve heard that phrase before. But what might be surprising is that it is even more relevant with regards to fashion! Fashion is cyclical. What goes out of style one year is the new “it” thing the next. For example, I’m pretty sure I wore this outfit (or a similar version) during elementary school. The only things missing in this ensemble are the pigtails and light up sneakers! It’s official, 90s fashion is baaaack.
Belt Bags
Belt bags, fanny packs, whatever you want to call them, are the best things since sliced bread. Get ready to take on the world hands-free with one of these little things. Gone are the days of black vinyl fanny packs. 2018 designs feature sequins, velvet, and luxurious waistbands. I take back all of the ugly things I said at Disney World way back when. #Guilty
Overalls
You heard right! Overalls are making a comeback and they are better than ever. From embroidery, colored denim, to lavish materials, these onesies make a statement without even trying. I think we can all appreciate an outfit that requires little to no effort once in a while. Now the question is, are you ready to look 30 going on 13?!
Flare Jeans
I have touched on this before, so I’ll keep it brief today. Clean cut skinny jeans are slowly but surely becoming obsolete. Flare legs, crop pants, and asymmetrical hems are all the rage. Pair ’em with a crop top and turn back time a couple of decades.

I’m pretty sure I wore an outfit like this in the 90s too. I am loving this outfit. I’m still a little hesitant on the fanny packs though. If I were to wear any fanny pack it would have to be a Gucci one haha.
