Affordable fashion can still stun. An “insta-friend” messaged me the other day and said, “Your outfits are always gorgeous. Initially I thought they must cost a fortune, but you always share budget-friendly items. Thank you.” How nice is that?! While I cannot hide the fact that I LOVE Gucci and Christian Louboutin shoes, the clothes on my body are usually under $100. In this day and age where trends emerge so quickly, the items in my closet have a shorter life span. Rather than investing $300 in a shirt or dress that I’ll only wear three times, I would rather buy three looks for less! This pink bandage dress is a great example.
If you dress like it’s Valentine’s 365 days a year, then this dress is for you. It is only $68 and just as fun to wear as it is to look at. It is certainly fitted, but that is what you get with a bandage-style garment. The thick stripes across the natural waistline shape your bod into a coveted hourglass figure, while the off the shoulder neckline flatters in all the right places. When I posted this dress to Instagram stories I referred to it as a, “Spanx” dress. After my experience with Spanx last night, I take back what I said! Haha. This is the kind of commentary you are missing out on if you don’t follow me on Instagram. Click here to correct that!
