Two Saturdays ago I had the pleasure of hosting the 7th Year Anniversary Party for Alice + Olivia SF. I have been a fan of the A+O brand for quite some time, so it was truly an honor! In case you are unaware, Alice + Olivia was founded in 2002 by the very talented Stacy Bendet. What attracts me to the brand are the colors, quirky patterns, sexy silhouettes, and the fit. As a petite woman, it can be hard to find clothes that fit straight off the rack. A+O apparel never ceases to amaze me – an xs is actually an xs! The quality control is superb and for that I will be a lifelong fan.
The Party
We like to party…we like we like to party! From cupcakes and cocktails, to killer outfits and fancy hair-dos, we shopped, we sipped, and we mingled. It was SO fun to meet the girls behind the Insta in real life. I am so appreciative of the ladies who traveled near and far to support me and the event! A special shoutout is in order to all of the Latina ladies who came out – I loved meeting each and every one of you!
The Outfit
Color is the way to my heart. It genuinely lifts my mood. When I laid eyes on the color block designs, it was a done deal. I had to have a piece of my own! I ended up choosing the pullover top, but this vibrant pattern is also available in a body con midi dress, and a pleated midi skirt. Although the dress was a close second, the top gave me the opportunity to incorporate another color into the ensemble – insert “bright poppy” shorts! These little things fit perfectly, are not too short, and so very flattering on the legs. I highly recommend adding a pair to your spring wardrobe!
