You do not want the skirt to “cut off” your legs at an awkward spot – they are already short enough. This is particularly important to keep in mind when you are styling a below-the-knee length garment. It only took me a decade to find a solution to this problem, but better late than never. Let’s talk MESH!     Who would have thought that a mesh panel would be our (short legged folks’) saving grace?! I sure didn’t before trying on this faux leather mesh-paneled skirt. The peek-a-boo panel prevents your legs from appearing cut off, all while creating an edgy look and feel. On the other hand, you do not want your mesh to come off as tacky…style it with caution. I sweetened up the look with a black and white tie-neck blouse – the bow adds a touch of sophistication.
