You do not want the skirt to “cut off” your legs at an awkward spot – they are already short enough. This is particularly important to keep in mind when you are styling a below-the-knee length garment. It only took me a decade to find a solution to this problem, but better late than never. Let’s talk MESH!     Who would have thought that a mesh panel would be our (short legged folks’) saving grace?! I sure didn’t before trying on this faux leather mesh-paneled skirt. The peek-a-boo panel prevents your legs from appearing cut off, all while creating an edgy look and feel. On the other hand, you do not want your mesh to come off as tacky…style it with caution. I sweetened up the look with a black and white tie-neck blouse – the bow adds a touch of sophistication. Don’t feel bad if your answer is no…I hadn’t either until a couple of weeks ago when a sponsored post showed up across my Facebook newsfeed. Anyway, SheIn is an online retailer specializing in women’s contemporary clothing. Most items ship directly from China, and as a result, the prices are incredibly low. Maybe I spent $60 on four items total?! It doesn’t get any better than that. As food items continue to dominate the fashion space in many shapes and forms, when I came across the Banana Embroidered Flange Denim Shorts, there was no way I was passing ’em up! Rather than sitting back and watching a new trend blowup, take part in it, fashionista!     On a kick for mixed prints, I thought it would be fun to pair these shorts with something other than a solid tee.
