Several months ago Nancy, of Current Clothing, let me in on a little secret. She said, “navy is the new black!” After back-to-back buying trips in New York and Los Angeles, Nancy was eager to tell me that navy blue velvet was a very prevalent fabric at market. Fast forward to November, and it is evvvverywhere! Was she right, or was she RIGHT?!     Similar to a little black dress, one will never be overdressed or underdressed in a little blue dress. From bodycon midis, asymmetrical midis, to shifts, and maxis, look chic as ever at your upcoming holiday party. This high neck midi dress from Asos is currently on my wish list! What good is a fabulous dress without an equally fabulous pair of shoes? Whether you are a flats gal, high heel lady, or a bootie queen, there is no shortage of navy blue shoes. I am a huge fan of these studded high heel pumps. The best part about ’em is that when you are not wearing them with velvet, they’ll look just as snazzy with your blue denim.
