Over the weekend I took this pair of Alice and Olivia shorts for a test run. These babies are valued at over $150, and I scored them for just under $40 at thredUP. They were beautifully packaged and in excellent condition – it doesn’t get any sweeter than that! I styled them with the same white blouse from last week’s post “Denim Shorts and Flatform Sandals.” If you look closely, you’ll notice that the top looks completely different. That is what happens when you wear it the correct way the second time around! I forgot to affix the ruffle over my biceps in last week’s post…oops. Anyway, I polished off the look with a pair of lace-up gladiator wedges and a contrasting blue purse. After wearing out my cognac gladiators last summer, it seemed very fitting to welcome the spring with a new black pair.

My shopping experience was pretty stellar at thredUP. In addition to Alice and Olivia, other notable fashions include those by: Free People, Michael Kors, BCBG, Trina Turk, and Tibi.
