The Gianni Bini Lizzy Feather Jacket from Dillard’s, is officially my favorite piece of the year. Perfectly tailored, and ultra feminine, you’ll feel like a celebrity when you rock this fluffy thing. Wear it open, or fasten it closed, and style it with all black for the chicest look. I paired this jacket with a high neck lace bodysuit, steaming things up a bit. For bottoms, tuxedo pants seemed to fit the occasion, plus the slim legs didn’t interfere with the feather hem. You don’t want too much bulk under there!

 
I accessorized with pearl earrings and glitter pumps to incorporate some lighter hues back into the mix. These pumps are not your average heels, instead they are a killer knockoff of the ever popular Valentino Rockstud Pump. Available at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, for a fraction of the cost ($69), if you’re attending holiday parties this year, consider them a necessity. While there is nothing better than pink and gold sparkles in my book, if the rose gold is too flashy for you, the black and pewter pair is a great alternative.

I’ve been yearning for a sleeveless sweater as I’m a big fan of sleeveless outerwear in general. When I came across this one from Forever 21, I knew it would be a smart purchase. Not only is camel the perfect fall hue, but the mock neck is suitable for the weather here. The side slits add an interesting touch and the length is great for leggings or skinny jeans. I paired this piece with burgundy skinny jeans from Current Clothing (most comfortable pants ever) and added a bit of flair with my leopard print booties. I accessorized lightly with a long fringe statement necklace and a brushed gold bracelet.

When I came across this retro floral top at my local H&M, I had to have it. Featuring three quarter length sleeves and a darling pleated back, this top is the perfect addition to your autumn attire. Sticking with the same color palette, I paired this piece with olive Girlfriend Jeans from Gap and a pumpkin wristlet. I completed the look with green bangles and leopard print wedge booties. Contrasting prints is one of the easiest ways to take your outfit to the next level – just work around one dominant color. For example, when I look at this floral pattern, my eye is immediately drawn to the orange hues. I knew the leopard shoes would work, because they are in the same orangey-brown color family. Capeesh?!

A flattering cut for daytime or evening wear, and the keyhole back offers a sweet feminine touch. On this trendy Tuesday, I styled this piece for happy hour. Pulling one prominent color, yellow, from the busy pattern, I made it pop even more by accessorizing with similar hues. Finally, for a nice contrast, I polished off the look with my favorite orange clutch by Urban Expressions. Will you be shifting up your fall attire with this hot commodity?!

You’ve already heard my schpiel about food items and how they’re trending in the industry, but seriously, how GREAT is this t-shirt?! The perfect addition to your dress down “Fry Day” ensemble. I love how it can go casual with shorts or fancy with long black jeans. Going for an edgy look, I paired it with distressed denim, yellow patent leather pumps, and a rhinestone necklace. Next time, I may swap out the pants for vegan leather shorts, and polish things off with a cape.

Flirty and fun, the perfect addition to an ensemble already full of flavor. I wore the top tucked in to show off the cut of the shorts and threw on some yellow kicks and a matching necklace. Ready, set, go! Head on over to your local H&M or get clicking online before these steals and deals sell out. Aside from the awesomely appealing price tag, the cut and fit are quite fabulous as well! High-waisted and slim fit at the top, and tapered at the knee, these babies are office or happy hour ready. If the green and black print doesn’t tickle your fancy, you’ll be happy to hear that these pants are available in a variety of solid colors and prints. I gravitated to the green and black pair immediately because they are suitable all-year-round. I can already picture them during the fall months with a burnt orange long-sleeve top and a black or cognac booties! This time around I kept it simple, and paired these hot pants with a black off the shoulder top also from H&M (only $24), and black patent leather pumps. I polished off the look with some gorgeous tassel earrings ($9.99), a thin black belt, and my gucci purse. Next time I may throw on a black cape just for kicks.

If you want to get your feet wet before breaking out the checks and dots, then hear me out! A great way to experiment with contrasting separates is to start with a stand-out accessory. This could be a pair of bold shoes, a purse, or in this case, sunglasses. When I came across these sunnies at Ambiance, I instantly fell in love. No they are not the most practical pair that I own, but they sure will make a statement when I rock ’em. Rather than styling these fun frames with a solid top or dress, I went for my favorite blue striped boyfriend shirt and white cut-off shorts. How did I arrive at this configuration? I was going for the mixed prints look but in a more subtle fashion. Within the geometric pattern of the sunglasses, blue is very prevalent and the reason I paired them with a blue striped shirt! To pull in another prevailing color, I embellished the look with bright pink pumps, and a matching floppy hat. Finally, to incorporate more of the geometric pattern, I polished off the outfit with a similar multi-colored clutch purse. How’s that for a mixed prints beginner run?!
