I have no idea why it took me so long to come to this realization, but I love December because of the “dress code.” Sequins are in abundance, and holiday parties are in full swing. This embroidered jacket is fit for a fashionista. The details are rich and the faux fur lining is heavenly. The $70-ish price tag does not justify its worth. This piece looks like it was taken straight off of the runway at New York Fashion Week! I think we can all appreciate a “look for less” during the gift giving season! I’m a big fan of mixing textures, hence the reason I am wearing faux fur, leather-like culottes, pearls accents, and a metal waist belt in this look. You don’t have to go this overboard to look holiday ready!

It is the only way to get honest feedback about the size and fit. It is my job to provide you all with useful style tips and fashion hacks, so I am going to be totally honest about these pants. While I LOVE the fit and flare cut, if you have muscular legs (I like to call them Bar Method legs!), they are not for you! Sizing up will not help because the waist fits true to size. The good news is that I am already on the hunt for a similar stretchy pair. You’re welcome…!
