Cleaning out your closet is no easy task! Maybe that champagne dress you wore to your rehearsal dinner just hangs there in a garment bag taking up space. Or the look you rocked when you nailed the interview for your dream job is slowly but surely building up dust in the back of your closet. Over the years I have found one easily solution to this problem…give your clothes to someone you genuinely care about. When you know your precious commodities are in a “good home” it makes saying goodbye a lot easier. Although there will be some pieces that you can’t part with, chances are high that there are plenty of fad items that need to go too. I was once a big fan of ’em too, but nowadays it seems like the higher cut the better. Speaking of denim, here’s another one to add to the list. Shrunken jean jackets. Now that I think about it, that fad really was bizzare! Who wants to look like they’re squeezing into a jacket that doesn’t fit them correctly?! Weird!

As Refinery29 puts it, the “frump pump.” I cannot think of a better way to describe it better than that. These shapeless shoes should be tossed. Platforms are back – no need to hide it anymore. With so many affordable hot kicks on the market, there’s no point in hanging on to these things.

Can you say boxy lady?! Enough already with the potato sack sweats from 1992. You do not have to sacrifice style to be comfortable! That is what lululemon, Orna Jane, and Forever21 are for. And those are just a few retailers that sell adorable spandex and sweats…
