Take one look at the Touch The Sky Wrap Clogs, by Free People, and tell me heads will not be turnin’ left and right! These shoes take the traditional platform sandal to a whole new level, and at 25% percent off, it is very temping to splurge.

Free People dresses will always have a special place in my heart. It was a FP dress that sealed the deal on my first date with my hubby. Over the past seven years (I can’t believe its been that long!) none have even compared, until I laid eyes on the Queen of Hearts mini dress at Bloomingdales. STUN in this paisley dress during your next soiree. Black or blue, they are equally gorge.

I’m smitten over the Liana Cork Wedge Lace Up Sandals. These blush beauties feature a cutout suede design and metallic gold flatform. It doesn’t get better than that! While I envision them with the FP dress above, I have a funny feeling they’d look good with just about everything.

If the cut isn’t just right, you could end up looking like a toddler in a potato sack. To avoid the potato sack look, choose a romper that will accentuate your best features. If you have long legs, go for one with short shorts. If you have a an attractive waist, choose a fitted romper that will showcase your hourglass figure. One for day and one for night.

 

How to wear a romper

 

For daytime wear, I paired this piece with with a knit cardigan and a hemp belt. Belts can add flare to any outfit in a matter of seconds. I polished off the look with fringe booties, a cognac crossbody bag and ivory and gold jewelry. For a flirtier evening look, I lost the sweater and belt, replaced the crossbody bag with a more elegant clutch purse, and threw on a pair of strappy fringe sandals – currently my favorite shoes of the season.

If you are in the market for a statement shoe, than this fringy footwear is for you! Great for embellishing an uninspired outfit, or suitable for your favorite little black dress, it will be an all eyes on the shoes affair when you step out in these heels. Choose from black or blue, or go for the “safe” color, taupe (as pictured below). A big thanks to Mr. Madden for designing these “Fringly” things.
