I distinctly remember the days shopping for denim skirts and corduroy jumpers at Gap Kids. It is funny to think that in 2015, here I am shopping for similar items, just like the Attagirl Rust Red Corduroy A-Line Skirt.     The a-line silhouette is a personal favorite. Naturally, I was excited when I found this corduroy a-line skirt, as it is in a fabulous fall hue and it reminds me of the denim skirt that I showcased here. The high-waisted cut is perfect for pairing with crop tops. That is where the Elliptical Lyric Chartreuse Long Sleeve Crop Top comes into play. A huge fan of contrasting colors, I decided to experiment with color-blocking for this look. Although foul weather gear can be pricey, think of it as an investment. Once you have it, it’ll last you a few years.   Begin with a pair of chic rain boots. In the ensemble below, I’m rocking my fringe Hunter boots. Out of the entire collection, I chose these because they don’t scream rain boots – they can pass for leather. Plus, the fringe detail is a mixture of black and blue making them suitable for black or blue pants. Finally, get yourself a stylish umbrella and tote it around as a fashion accessory. I’m obsessed with this “Moustache Bubble Umbrella.” Available in a variety of fun shades, it’ll instantly add color to an otherwise gray day.
