It’s always fun to add a new handbag to your ever-growing collection, and if you choose right, there’s no reason you cannot continue to use it for several years. One of my favorite things to do is go shopping in my own closet. When I buy a fashion accessory (in this case a purse) that I really love, I tend to wear it so much at first that after a few months I never want to see the thing again. Rather than giving away my prized possession, I simply set it on my closet shelf and forget it. Fast forward several months or years and that purse I was “so sick of” is suddenly new and special again. So choose wisely, handle your valuables with care, and you’ll have them forever!

When life gives you lemons, wear orange lipstick! No really, how fun is this fruit-shaped purse?! Food items are trending in the fashion world so why not ride the bandwagon?! Being a huge fan of contrasting colors, I knew this accessory would pop nicely against a white pants outfit, so there you have it. Introduce me to a good peplum top and 9 times out of ten it’ll have a new home in my closet. Introduce me to a neon green lace peplum top and it will be hanging in my closet in a matter of seconds! As you can see in the photos below, I paired this gem with my favorite white flare jeans – I always prefer a tailored top with wide leg pants. To incorporate all of the colors in the purse, I styled this look with a chunky yellow necklace, a white watch, and a rhinestone bracelet. With my white laser cut sandals on repeat, I think they helped polish off this ensemble…although a pair of white or nude pumps would’ve worked too.
