The off the shoulder trend has been a hit for 2016, but as with any trend, they come and go. Stock up on your OTS items at a rock bottom price! I’m diggin’ the rompers and light weight dresses for the remainder of the warm weather months. Think backyard barbecues or wine country.

You already know my stance on jewelry and accessories – an ensemble is not complete without it. There is no better time to add variety to your collection with bling that you would not feel comfortable purchasing at the regular price. I am talking about foot bracelets, extravagant sunnies, and body jewelry. As if my armoire was not already overflowing…

We call them basics for a reason. They’re suitable for wear all year long! While I realize they are not the most exciting items to pick out, you will get your money’s worth and you’ll thank me later. I am taking full advantage of the opportunity to diversify my top assortment. Stick to neutrals and you’ll have no regrets.

A few months ago, my bff introduced me to quite possibly the coolest shoes on earth; pom pom sandals. Just when you thought the fad could not get any bigger…BAM! Because a pair of flats seldom makes it into one of my outfits, I searched the internet for a budget-friendly alternative and just so happened to find the “Posh” Embellished Lace-Up Sandal, by Chinese Laundry. These shoes will stop people in their tracks!

 
I styled this look modestly because I wanted all eyes on the feet. This LBD from lulu*s was the perfect addition. The off the shoulder neckline and bow-tie sleeve detail created just enough oomph. With so much color below the knees, I balanced out the fun with a red beaded necklace and turquoise earrings. This is just one of many ways to style these sandals. Stay tuned to see how I wear them with a pair of cutoff jean shorts!

The Sensational Anthem Off-the-Shoulder Heather Grey Dress is perfect for your weekend barbecue or a night of dancing with your beau. Featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves and a plunging neckline, feel sassy and cool in this flirty dress. The full skirt balances out the racy top half and the heather gray can either go dressy or casual. Since dressy is always better in the KK and GG handbook, I paired this hot number with a pair of yellow patent leather pumps, and a black and white beaded headband. I further accessorized with my favorite pearl bracelet with matching ring and my go-to black and white plaid clutch. If you’re wondering how to dress down this look for July 4th festivities, swap out the pumps for a pair of red leather flip flops and exchange the beaded headband for this red white and blue headband instead.
