Before aimlessly searching the internet for cocktail attire, think about the location. Is the rehearsal dinner at an elegant restaurant? A country club, or a relative’s home? When I found out that were congregating at my sister-in-law’s house, my outfit options changed significantly. If the celebration is at a private residence, pants are totally acceptable. Typically a lady in a dress is more glamorous than a gal in pants. Luckily I was correct to assume that the bride would be wearing a dress! Once you decide on bottoms, consider styling them with black or brown accents. A “statement” top in black is far less attention grabbing than a statement top in red. Catch my drift?!
