You cannot go wrong spending the summer in Lilly. These bold prints will have heads turning and fashionistas chatting. ]]> Now that I’ve officially showcased all of my Lilly Pulitzer for Target finds, it is time for me to give props to the original Lilly Pulitzer and co. Consider it a crime to invest in Lilly prints without purchasing one of her signature items – the shift dress. These hot numbers have been around for decades and there are no signs that their popularity is fading. Style your shift for a Sunday brunch with the girls, wine tasting in Napa, or any other summer occasion. While they are all equally fab, I am particularly enamored with the Mila Lace Detail Dress. This week as I played around with the latest inventory at Liv Fashion Boutique, a pair of wide leg pants caught my eye.   If you’ve signed yourself up to stand around all day in the sun, then you might as well be comfortable and cool while you’re doing it! Invest in a pair of light weight wide-leg pants. There is nothing worse than a pair of shorts that ride up every step you take. A well-fitting pair of pants will stay in place, and if they are palazzos, they won’t stick to you either. In the ensemble below, I styled these pants with a black racerback tank and an open front chiffon cardigan. I always like to have a little something over my shoulders in case it is breezy. I accessorized with a mini cognac purse (who wants to schlep around with a large bag when you can squeeze your essentials into a smaller one) and a matching orange and navy pendant necklace.     The second look is my favorite. Anyway, rather than throwing on a simple v-neck t-shirt to go with it, I wanted to try something different. At first contemplating over a chambray or white button up, I decided on a sleeveless tuxedo shirt – also several years old. Boy am I glad I held onto these pieces for so long.
