I distinctly remember back-to-school shopping, close to 20 years ago, and being told that the suede Mary Jane shoes “weren’t appropriate” for the fall season. Well, one of the things I love the most about fashion in this era is that you make the rules! For the most part, anything goes. So whether you decide to wear white pants all year round, or break out some suede in the middle of the summer, go for it! Know that you’ve got KK and GG’s approval…     Just like I mentioned in the post “Bell Bottoms: They’re baaack!,” if you haven’t yet noticed these retro bottoms making a comeback, consider this your warning! When I spotted the I’d Suede So Taupe Flare Pants on the lulu*s website, I was ecstatic. I think it is pretty obvious by now that I cannot resist a comfortable pair of pants, but a wide-leg suede bell bottom takes my pant obsession to a whole new level. Just like I mentioned in the post “Bell Bottoms: They’re baaack!,” if you haven’t yet noticed these retro bottoms making a comeback, consider this your warning! When I spotted the I’d Suede So Taupe Flare Pants on the lulu*s website, I was ecstatic. I think it is pretty obvious by now that I cannot resist a comfortable pair of pants, but a wide-leg suede bell bottom takes my pant obsession to a whole new level. These pull-on hot pants are constructed out of spandex microfiber suede. As comfortable and lightweight as they come, if you enjoy rocking a hip hugging silhouette, these my friends, are for you. I stuck to basics, and tucked in a surplice black top with these flare leg bottoms, and made it interesting with a braided metallic belt. I accessorized further with black tassel earrings and wedge sandals. Depending on your height (I am only 5 feet tall), you may be able to get away with flats.

 

Lovin’ the $39 price tag, I might have to snag the black pair while supplies last!
