When we finally arrived at Castello Di Verrazzano (a 1000 year old castle) we were hungry and thirsty. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here – the staff was so friendly and hospitable! Both the sips and bites exceeded our expectations. Don’t you love when that happens?! Also known for their production of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, we purchased a couple of bottles for tonight’s big dinner. Tip: When choosing a Chianti Classico, look for the black rooster label. Think of it as a “good housekeeping” seal of approval.

Two bowls of pasta, and a wine tasting later, we hit the road stopping for photos before sunset. I happened to wear an outfit from Tobi that matched the fall leaves perfectly. Photos do not do this place justice, but we tried our best to capture the scenery for y’all! I dressed this two-piece set with over the knee boots for added warmth and a black overcoat to tone down the bold print. Speaking of, this stunner is 40% off at Lord & Taylor and would make a great Hanukkah or Christmas gift. Just sayin’…
