My wardrobe consists of statement pieces and more statement pieces. Throwing something on to “bop around” in can be quite a challenge. When I laid eyes on this ruffle sleeve cable knit sweater, I knew I would put it to good use. This winter out of the last three has definitely been the coldest. Long sleeves and lightweight jackets are not going to cut it. An item like this is stylish on its own, but even better with a vest or under your go-to parka. You be the judge.

Colored denim is one of last year’s trends that I plan to keep around. With jeans available for purchase in nearly every color of the rainbow, it is sort of inexcusable to wear a boring outfit these days. I almost always break out the colored skinnies when I wear a white top. Burgundy is a season-proof hue and it nicely compliments the bordeaux shades in my boots. I polished off the look with my cream purse and a red lip. Hopefully you are not tired of seeing either because they’re two of my favorite items right now.
