Just about everything I owned was pink! My love for the color went as far as having a custom license plate made for my car reading, “Pink 1” I kid you not! I was that girl. After the pink party ended several years ago, I swore I’d never wear the color again. Fast forward to 2016 and here I am again blushing over the color blush! This ensemble is currently on my wish list…although by the end of this post, it might be in my shopping cart.     Although my taste in color has certainly diversified since way back when, there is something so loving and sweet about the pale pink hue. When I came across these satin trousers, my creative mind began to roll. How fabulous would these be for a holiday party or date night soiree?! Although my taste in color has certainly diversified since way back when, there is something so loving and sweet about the pale pink hue. When I came across these satin trousers, my creative mind began to roll. How fabulous would these be for a holiday party or date night soiree?! The high waisted silhouette makes them crop top friendly and the wide legs scream drama!

 

 

My first instinct was to dress them with a matching blush top. Monochromatic looks are one of my favorite to style as seen here and here. For a less formal occasion, I would rock them with a cable-knit sweater. For a formal occasion, however, I would stick with a classic cami. I love a garment that gives me options.

 

 

Finally, because an outfit is incomplete without accessories, I would bling out with this incredible beaded cap. Never have I ever laid eyes on a more glamorous headpiece. To polish off the look I would wear these pink drop earrings (a knock off of the ever popular Rebecca de Ravenel Bon Bon earrings), and complete the ensemble with perfect velvet sandals.
