But let’s get real, there is nothing more versatile than a pair of white shorts…dress ’em up or down with the right accessories. Excited to break out a pair of white cuffed shorts for the first time this season, I have a feeling I’ll be “setting them and forgetting them” after the next few months!   For years I’ve been successful at finding a modest pair of shorts at Express. The signature 4.5 inch belted cuffed shorts are offered in a variety of colors and the longer length makes them suitable for many occasions. Tuck a chiffon blouse into these shorts and fasten them with a metallic leather belt, or pair them with your favorite cotton top and adorn yourself in jewelry. In the ensemble below I went the second route. If you do not yet own a button down chambray shirt, get on it! These shirts can play the role of a light jacket or a blouse.
