If you dress like it’s Valentine’s 365 days a year, then this dress is for you. It is only $68 and just as fun to wear as it is to look at. It is certainly fitted, but that is what you get with a bandage-style garment. The thick stripes across the natural waistline shape your bod into a coveted hourglass figure, while the off the shoulder neckline flatters in all the right places. When I posted this dress to Instagram stories I referred to it as a, “Spanx” dress. After my experience with Spanx last night, I take back what I said! Haha. Matching jean jackets, pants, and skirts...yeah that is a thing now, and I am here for it. I have always been a fan of a monochrome ensemble. They are easy to put together and effortlessly chic. But you don’t have to style your colored denim in sets. It’s poppy enough on its own. Are you ready to try it? Allow me to provide you with some outfit inspiration.

Pink jeans…where have they been my whole life?! Regardless, they’re here now and I cannot get enough of ’em. Featuring a high rise waist and straight crop leg, these pretty little things will get you through the spring and summer months! I often gravitate towards jeans with stretch. I have a petite shapely frame, and fabric that “gives” is more comfortable on the curves. Somehow AGOLDE figured out how to produce 100% cotton colored denim that is not suffocating. These jeans move with you and accent your figure in all of the right places. Not a fan of pink? Consider adding this lemon pair of AGOLDE jeans to your spring/summer attire.

What do you get when you mix a sweatshirt and a dress?! Cozy perfection! There is nothing better than coming home from a long day and slipping into your favorite sweats. No need to hibernate inside with the Jessa Sweatshirt Dress from Lover + Friends. This item is just as stylish as it is comfortable and can go casual or dressy. For an easy daytime look, wear it with your favorite flat boots, or take it up a notch with an over the knee pair. For me there is no middle ground between my Bar Method clothes (aka activewear) and the outfits that appear on my blog. If you fall into the same level of “extra,” consider wearing a high heel boots and a printed stockings with your sweatshirt dress!

You need novelty stockings! These little things have the ability to totally avert a fashion crisis. Boring outfit – oomph it up with textured tights. Short skirt – incorporate a printed stocking for moderate coverage. Catch my drift?! No matter the brand, print, or texture, it’ll have the same affect. But for my fellow Gucci girls, this is the most affordable item you will find in-store and online. I’m talking $100 and you too can own a pair of these. They’d make a great gift…just sayin’.

“You can’t do that to your parents”

Never let someone else stand in your way of fulfilling your dreams. Growing up in the Northeast I made up my mind early that I would attend college somewhere in the South. I wanted a new experience. I can still remember the reaction I got from friends’ moms when I proudly told them I was off to Baton Rouge, LA for my junior and senior years of college. “You can’t do that to your parents.” “You are going even FARTHER away from home?!” Watch me, I thought to myself! It had nothing to do with the relationship I had with my parents (it’s wonderful in case you’re wondering). Instead, it had everything to do with following my dreams.

Well, as you can probably imagine, it was shocking for our friends and family to find out that we were moving to San Francisco five years ago. “But you’ve already established a practice.” “Do you know anyone in SF?” We’ll build a bigger and better practice and meet a lot of people, we thought to ourselves!

The Highlights

Fast forward to 2018 and the best is yet to come. In the meantime, here are a few highlights:

• June 2013:  Dr. Jonathan Kaplan opens the doors to Pacific Heights Plastic Surgery
• November 2014: The first blog post on KK and GG is published
• November 2015: KK and GG rebrands to Kelsey Kaplan Fashion

• May 2018: Jonathan is voted “Best Cosmetic Surgeon in San Francisco” by SF Weekly

Be relentless.
Be courageous.
Be confident.
Believe in yourself.

White on white is so crisp and clean. Although I do not follow the “no white after Labor Day” rule, I probably wouldn’t wear it head to toe after the first week of September. This Alexis peplum top is dazzling in details. From the beautifully textured design, to the delicate lace trim, this piece looks like a work of art! As if you haven’t guessed already, I dressed this shirt with white jeans and nude accents, including the chicest shades on the market by Victory Optical.

Teggy rocked the coordinating dress and she killed it…surprise surprise! She has always inspired me style-wise. I never would have thought to wear this dress with a cowl neck sweater, but it totally worked. This fashion hack will come in handy during the “fog” days of summer. Sticking to the monochromatic theme, she accessorized with dainty white accents, including a classic Chanel purse and cutout sandals. My cousin is cooler than yours! She really is though…
