This sequin jumpsuit is not labeled petite but it definitely fits like it is! I almost always need jumpsuits hemmed, but not this time! Now that I got you all excited about potentially wearing jeans on Valentine’s Day, allow me to throw out some denim-friendly date night ideas. Go to a cooking class with your beau – it does not have to be fancy! The Sur La Table near you hosts cooking classes weekly. If cooking the night away sounds torturous, experience dinner and a movie in a whole new way. Find a theatre that serves up generous entrees and delicious cocktails! The Alamo Draft House has all of the above if you reside in San Francisco. Or, for the daring couple, go for a scooter ride! I have said it before and I am saying it again…there is no better way to admire the city views! Rent a Scoot here.

This top is everything. It reminds me of a Lady Gaga shirt minus the sequins. It makes a statement on its own so jeans are a natural choice. Less is never more IMO so I incorporated all pink accents (shocking!). I am very happy with my earring and shoe choice. They are both on sale and add just enough glitz and sparkle to the ensemble. The Dress

Blush is the new black. You can never go wrong in a little blush dress. Over the past year, blush has become an acceptable color for year round wear. I love it because it’s a happy hue and you can find it in virtually any shape or form. The Shoes

Whether you’re in the office, or on the street, take my word for it, all eyes will be on the shoes. I love ’em with the little blush dress because they add just enough edge to an otherwise girly ensemble. For added flair, pair your Lilly pumps with black stockings.

The Accessories

Never leave the house without properly accessorizing. Anyone and everyone can slip into a dress and walk out the door. What will set you apart, however, is how you piece together an ensemble from top to bottom. The crispin drops from Baublebar in black will make a statement and tie together the entire look. When dressing in dark and light hues, it is important to maintain a balance. The black earrings on the upper half and black shoes on the lower half will accomplish this.

I have become a big fan of matching separates. They are as polished as a one-piece, yet there is something so chic about them. Plus, you are essentially getting three looks in one – I think we all appreciate that. If you follow me on Instagram, then you might recognize this fab pink print. Boy am I glad you all encouraged me to buy both items! This might just be my all time favorite Valentine’s Day outfit.

Leave it to H&M to carry such a beautiful outfit at an even more beautiful price point. For less than $75, he won’t be able to keep his hands to himself – I guarantee it! These jacquard knit stunners feature a bubbly pink pattern, with a contrasting blue trim (yay for mixed prints!). Aside from the aesthetics, the fit is dreamy. Six course meal? No problem! Although we’ve all dressed in loose clothes just for that reason, there is no need to worry about it in this ensemble. The thick material and high waist will suck it all in.

Less is more when you are working with a statement piece. For that reason I styled this look simply with a matching metallic pink clutch, iridescent earrings, and nude pumps. It would not be Valentine’s Day without some hugs and kisses! Thanks Starbucks for turning my beverage into a fashion accessory. Although Rose Quartz is officially the “Color of the Year” according to Pantone, in my book, wine aka burgundy has made a big comeback and I’m diggin’ it. A brownish shade of red that’s flattering on every complexion…what’s not to love?! Whether we’re talking dresses, jeans, or accessories, reward yourself with a dose of wine (the liquid kind counts too!). Today’s daily dose is coming in the form of a bodycon midi. I love this dress because it compliments your curves in a classy way. The long sleeves and longer length balance out the glove-like fit, while the open back and slit elegantly flaunt your backside. The fabric is stretchy and thick – great for keeping your goods in check. Less is more when you’re styling a piece like the Va Va Voom Dress, and that is why I chose a monochromatic color scheme. Accessorizing with caged sandals and a matching purse, find me wining and dining in my Valentine’s Day Dress up in Napa!

In an effort to stay in the flavor of this “Hallmark holiday,” I broke out my watermelon high-waisted wide leg pants. Although they are from last season, check out this way cuter pair of trousers. A bold pair of pants is a good item to have in your closet for one of those “I have nothing to wear” moments. Pair them with a black top, and just like that, you’re dressed and ready to go. I styled my red bottoms with a black long sleeve crop top with ruffle detail, although any fitted black top would have been adequate. Same goes for the trousers mentioned above. To complete the look, I put on a pearl statement necklace (add your email address here and get notified when it’s back in stock), “Peekaboo” pearl earrings, and a timeless Gucci purse.
