The Czech Republic has been relevant my whole life. My father’s ancestors are from there, so I grew up with a last name of Czechoslovakian descent. When my husband was invited to a meeting in Prague, we knew it would be wonderful place to begin or end our European Holiday!
Prague is a storybook city. No matter what direction you look, you’ll either be facing a castle, an architectural masterpiece, or the river. It’s incredible. Although Jonathan has proven himself to be a very competent Instagram Husband, it is worth every penny to hire a professional photographer when you’re in a new setting. Simply put, it’ll alleviate stress on your vacation. We were so fortunate that the Hilton connected us with Miguel Alonso. Not only did he capture the scenery perfectly, but he knew exactly where to go.
With November temperatures averaging around 35 degrees Fahrenheit, it was the perfect opportunity to wear my faux fur shapka hat. As with any statement piece, you don’t want to compete with it. I dressed in a modest sweater dress from Tobi and topped it with a black cape – an item I scored of off the street in Florence. One of the easiest ways to jazz up a black ensemble is by adding texture. I did so with the addition of long leather gloves, lace stockings, and suede OTK boots. Take me back to this fairytale…
