Meet Kelsey Kaplan

I’m Kelsey Kaplan, an East Coast chic, who has fallen hard for San Francisco. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile and Apparel Merchandising, the plan was to move back East to work in the fashion industry in NYC. Well, despite my plan, I met my future husband, Jonathan Kaplan, a true southern gentleman. Suddenly relocating became insignificant. We were married by September 2011 and lived in Baton Rouge for a year and a half as newlyweds. Both entrepreneurial at heart with big dreams and aspirations, it was time to experience life “in the big city.” After exploring many options, things serendipitously fell into place in SF and it became home the spring of 2013.

Blogging is an outlet for me to let my fashion mind roll. Although I have a “day job,” all day I dream about clothes. There is nothing that I enjoy more than coordinating outfits, and offering style advice to fellow fashionistas. My goal in establishing Kelsey Kaplan Fashion is to offer my followers daily style advice and useful fashion hacks. At the same time, I strive to offer brands a place to creatively showcase their goods. As a loyal customer and brand ambassador, I will only showcase and review pieces I genuinely love.
