Hi, my name is Kelsey and I am a petite fashion blogger. I am five feet tall and have been since junior high. Apparently I am good at disguising my lack of height because followers often remark that I appear taller in photos! Nude pumps, pointy toe boots, and high waisted garments definitely help, but flare jeans and platform shoes make exaggerating your height easier than ever!
I cannot walk out out of the house in any old t-shirt and jeans. Everyone knows how to physically put on a top and pull up a pair of pants. But what makes me different and defines who I am as a fashionista is that I style ALL of the ensembles that I wear. I carefully curate every outfit so that the garments and the matching accessories make a statement. I am definitely not bragging, rather I am just being honest. It is my job to inspire people like you through the clothes that I wear! So if I share a look with you that does consist of a top and jeans, I can guarantee that it’ll be a good one!
Hopefully you agree that this velvet bodysuit and flare jeans combo is not your average top and jeans outfit! Better yet, it will make you appear a foot taller with hardly any effort. Petite women rejoice! It is only human nature to want what you cannot have. Luckily all it takes is a good pair of platforms (obsessed with these) and flare jeans to give you the long legs you’ve never had! Now that you know my short person “tricks,” I would love to learn yours!

Another beautiful outfit Kelsey. I’m both intrigued and impressed with your fashion sense and knowledge 🙂
Thank you so much! That is the ultimate compliment. I did not forget about your overalls request. It is just taking a little bit of time as I do not have a pair myself!
You are most welcome 🙂 I don’t have any overalls here at the moment, but hoping to get some soon. There is so so much you can do with them I think.
I have always been interested in fashion (and at one point, thought of a fashion career).
Do you have any tips or advice for those who are taller? (I am 5 ft, 11 inches). Should I start looking in the taller sections of sites and in stores?
I should add. I’m looking for looks similar to yours. Comfort yet fashionable
