Whether you’ve got a Passover Seder or an Easter dinner to attend this weekend, break out some printed pants and add a little energy to the supper table. While out for a stroll in the marina a couple of nights ago, a pair of bright floral Gretchen Scott trousers caught my eye. Leave it to Toss to carry such a great item! I immediately fell in love with the neon colors and design and got super excited when I noticed the ankle slit.
It can be a bit of a challenge to find a well-fitting pair of trousers when you are blessed with short legs – especially when they are primarily white. That is why the ankle slit on these is such a plus. It helps elongate the legs. So when you do come across a pair that you feel good in, do yourself a favor and just buy them! You won’t regret it. In the ensemble below, I styled these hot pants with a sleeveless button down blouse in pale pink. Although pale pink is not present in the pants, I knew it would work because of the contrasting bright pink piping. Always prepared for the San Francisco weather to change on a dime, I incorporated a denim blazer into the mix. To bring everything together, I hit the streets in bright pink reptile leather pumps. Trying not to compete with the neon pattern, I accessorized with fine gold bangles, pink and gold ear jackets, a simple clutch and a bright pink lip.
