Swimsuit shopping is a stressful task. Not only is it the most revealing garment you’ll probably ever wear in public, but maybe the one you like is only sold as a set and you’re not the same size on the top and bottom. The good news is, swimsuit designers are having fun with old fashioned silhouettes and really mixing up the cuts and prints these days. So as long as you go into it with an open mind, you’ll have a productive shopping trip!
The Mara Hoffman Front Twist One-Piece is one of this season’s show stoppers. Crafted out of Hoffman’s signature geometric print, this suit is great for the more modest fashionista. Chic as can be, yet it conceals the midsection. The plunging v neck and open back will have people fooled. Looks like a bikini, feels like a one-piece.
The Citrine Tonzai Raglan Lavender Bikini is effortlessly beautiful. The pastel purple is sure to compliment any complexion. Featuring a traditional low rise bottom, the top is the complete opposite. The unique crisscross gives off a dramatic effect, while the extra thick neckties form an exaggerated bow at the nape of your neck.
If the All Day Aquatics top and high-waisted bottoms don’t scream retro, I don’t know what does! This tri-color bustier top and matching bottom look like they were taken straight from the 60’s! Flattering on all shapes and sizes, break out your Rosie the Riveter hair piece and soak up the rays and compliments rocking this vintage inspired suit.
Lolli Swim is a little bit cutesy, a little bit racy. The bandeau top in the watermelon Bites print is too cute for words featuring the signature bow tie at the front. The original Bow Bottoms in mint, feature a sweet bow in the same watermelon print – helping balance out the minimal cheeky back coverage.
