Origami is making a comeback, but not in paper form. Rather in the form of skirts, shorts, and skorts, and boy is it flattering. Although I’ve noticed this trend for several months, this weekend was the first time I took an origami garment out for a spin.
When something is hot, Current Clothing is the spot! Of course this chic boutique would carry such a fashionable item. This black and gold one-piece stunner is everything you’ve ever wanted in a romper. Unlike some onezies that take you back to kindergarten, this one is figure flattering and age-appropriate in several ways. First of all, you can barely even tell that the top and bottom are connected. The upper half is no different than your go-to black v-neck blouse, and the perfectly tailored skort synches right at the waist. What a treat when someone else does the thinking for once! To go along with the whole geometric theme, I threw on a pair of fishnet stockings. If you want to take your black ensemble from mediocre to fabulous, incorporating fishnets is an easy way to do it! With black and gold being one of my favorite combos, I simply accessorized with black heels and glitzy statement earrings.
Call Current Clothing to order this romper. Let Nancy know that Kelsey K sent you.
