Confession: I splurged on fall attire at Current Clothing, my favorite San Francisco boutique. The crisp hues and versatile layering pieces were just too good to pass up. Now that I have the tops and bottoms in place, all I need are the shoes to complete my early autumn ensembles. Check out the fall getup currently on my wish list.
Speaking of splurges, last year I purchased my first pair of Stuart Weitzman boots. Although definitely a wardrobe investment, I wore them at least four times per week. I guess you can say I got my monies worth! After trying on what seemed like a dozen pairs of OTK boots, for them to fall down mid step, or uncomfortably squeeze my toes, I tried on the xxx and it was like a match made in heaven. Not only do they conform to your leg, but they are truly the most comfortable pair of heels that I own. The all new “Troika” over-the-knee boot is jaw-dropping good! The same reliable construction that I am used to, in berry color-blocked suede. Pre-order this item before it’s too late!
It has been several years since purchasing my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes. They were black suede booties with metallic black cutout leaves adhered to the sides of them. Needless to say, they were awesome and I wore them to the ground. Like I mentioned last week, one of the easiest ways to transition your summer attire into fall friendly fashions is by incorporating seasonal hues and suede into your looks. Kick the flatforms to the side and lace up the “Cors” peep toe bootie! This versatile shoe will instantly take all of your in-between looks to the next level. The stacked heel assures all-day comfort while the peep toe guarantees ventilation while it’s still warmer than usual. I am in need of a neutral bootie, so I’m eyeing the taupe. Get excited…they also come in: grey, khaki, navy, and red!
