In my world, an outfit is incomplete without a statement piece. You’ll never catch me out and about in a solid garment without a necklace, scarf, or a vest. Maybe those are not realistic expectations for everyone to live up to but I am a fashion blogger by trade! The good news is OTK boots have the potential to fill that void. Here me out.

You can never go wrong with a classic shift dress. It is a very forgiving cut as it is neither too fitted nor too loose. I scored this faux suede number from Black Swan Clothing. The neutral hue is perfect for the fall and the keyhole detail adds a nice touch – it is certainly a basic with a twist! I styled this dress with a multicolored fur vest for some added fun, then polished off the look with complimentary over the knee boots. Let’s get real, the vest and the shoes are the “wow factor’ in this look.
