When you think of suspenders, you probably envision a clip on accessory for a men’s suit. Insert a fashionista into the picture, and this is what you get…a pair of green suspender shorts, an ivory turtleneck, and a pair of gladiator wedge sandals. While on a weekend trip to the Cleveland Metro Area, my hubby and I stopped by Chagrin Water Falls, aka Small Town USA, for some quality time. This quaint little square is full of eclectic shops, charming restaurants, and most importantly, waterfalls. Along with a trip to “Pleasantville” comes a fab outfit. The Suspend My Time Olive Green Suspender Shorts from lulu*s were the perfect option. Made out of lightweight fabric, these short-shorts will help you beat the heat and look good while doing it. To balance out the low cut neckline, I paired these suspender shorts with an ivory sleeveless turtleneck (also from lulu*s) and dressed it up with a chunky statement necklace. I polished off the look with my favorite lace-up gladiator wedges and a black and white plaid clutch purse.
