Attending or hosting a dinner party this month? Stun in your favorite peplum top and jeans! Comfort is key, especially when you’re hosting, so give it a shot. In the outfit below, I paired a silk taffeta peplum top with the most comfortable light khaki pants I own. I polished off the look with a multicolored clutch and some beige patent leather pumps. A great alternative look would be this lace peplum top with black pants and the same pumps in black. If you are looking for a hostess gift, pick up a bottle of Incanto Chardonnay Pinot Grigio from your local Trader Joe’s! The bottle alone makes for a wonderful decorative item, but I have heard the blend is rather tasty as well. Presenting Kit and Ace – home of Technical Cashmere™ (machine washable cashmere) and other Technical Luxury™ fabrics. Brought to you by Shannon Wilson (married to Chip Wilson – founder of lululemon) and JJ Wilson, this duo was unhappy with the selection of merchandise available in the luxury apparel sector, so they created their own. Currently operating out of seven stores, five in Canada, and one in New York and San Francisco, Kit and Ace might just pop up in a city near you! In the mean time, enjoy shopping online. From crew neck tees, to button down shirts, to hoodies, and turtle necks, available for both men and women, these garments are made out of their signature fabric, Technical Cashmere™. This rich textile is machine washable and lusciously soft, while the removable tags and flat seams allow for easy layering and a supremely comfortable wearing experience. While attending the Grand Opening for the San Francisco location, I was particularly impressed with two articles. The Chesterman Hoodie and the Blanket Wrap. Both wool and cashmere blends, these items are wardrobe staples. Every guy could use a handsome cashmere sweater and the Blanket Wrap is too good to […]
When you are having one of those “I have nothing to wear” moments, throw on some black on black. Cutting out the matching game will save you a lot of time, but if you are a big fan of color, and an all black ensemble doesn’t sound appealing, just break out the bright accessories. Women who wear black lead colorful lives – Neiman Marcus In the look below, I paired a high-low vegan leather tank (similar here) with some coated skinny jeans (similar here) and my favorite bib necklace. The perfect pop of color! This statement piece is from Marmalade – a San Francisco Boutique, but if you’re not in the Bay Area check out these designs. Speaking of bib necklaces, the stunner I featured in my post How to Wear Boyfriend Jeans Day and Night is now available online at Francecsa’s. Purchase it here.
