Peep-Toe Ankle Boots

I’m not sure I gave these booties a proper “shoutout” in my post regarding Lazy Bear San Francisco attire, so here they are again! The Meoww Peep-Toe Ankle Boots by Nine West are a wonderful item to add to your shoe collection. The texture combo (black suede and black leather), set these kicks apart from your standard black shoe. I am particularly fond of the yellow gold hardware on the back zip closure. When I have a choice, I tend to choose yellow over white gold – makes for easy jewelry pairing. Aside from their good looks, they are a 5 on the tolerable scale (1 being the least tolerable, 5 being the most tolerable – no high heels are actually comfortable!). The slightly padded insole helps support the balls of your feet and the 4.5″ sturdy heel makes for easy walking and all the height you’ll ever need. Add These Items to your Travel Checklist

Along with the holiday season comes a lot of traveling. Whether you’ll be the passenger in a long car ride, or on the plane, add these items to your checklist for a more enjoyable experience. The bag: Always travel with a tote bag. You’ll be able to stuff your purse inside of it, along with other items you can’t do with out. Didn’t have time to apply your makeup before your flight? Throw in your cosmetics bag and a compact mirror. Considering I never travel solo, I use GG’s Gucci dog purse as my carry on tote, so that I have it to schlep her around in, once I reach my final destination. Wishlist Wednesday: Michael Kors Watch

If you’re as dependent on your wrist watch as I am, then you’re completely lost when you decide not to wear one because it doesn’t quite match your outfit. For that reason alone, I would like to introduce you to the Darci Two-Tone Watch by Michael Kors. This two-toned beauty is what you would call the perfect everyday watch! The mixed metals (stainless steel with rose gold accents) make it easy to wear this timepiece with virtually anything in your jewelry armoire, and the pave crystal bezel allows you to mix this item right in with your fine jewels. Now about that blue face…when it comes to fashion accesories, to me, navy blue is the best alternative to your black and white wardrobe staples. Think jeans. You pair your favorite denim with just about anything, right? The same rule applies here. Speaking of blue, this would make for a wonderful Hanukkah gift…hint hint!

Your Guide to Lazy Bear San Francisco: The Appropriate Attire

Part Two: What to wear When the higher ups at Lazy Bear (or any other trendy establishment) tell you, “ most guests tend to dress smart casual or slightly dressy,” go all out! There are never enough occasions to get fancy, so why not seize the opportunity?! On that note, I decided to debut my Alice and Olivia dress to Lazy Bear last week. The black shimmery thread, intertwined with olive tweed fabric, make this dress suitable for a holiday party, a cocktail hour, or a dinner. With the right accessories, it can go from edgy to glamorous in a matter of seconds. I love a piece like this because if you re-wear it a few times during the season, you can change it up enough that it won’t look like you’re in the same outfit. Your Guide to Lazy Bear San Francisco: A Unique Dining Experience

Part One: The Food Tucked away along 19th street in the Mission, stands Lazy Bear San Francisco, a fine dining restaurant. You’ll leave this one-of-a-kind experience licking your lips, oo-ing and aw-ing and pinching yourself to make sure the flavors on your palate were not just your imagination’s concoctions. Headed by, self-taught culinary genius, David Barzelay, Lazy Bear (an anagram of the chef’s last name) began as a “popup” eatery and evolved into a brick and mortar restaurant. With only two seatings per night (Tuesday through Saturday), and a 45 person cap, this place plays the supply and demand game right! Reservations are not accepted. Instead, you must purchase tickets in advance if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on ’em! They sell out that fast. Included in the $120 per person price tag is a gourmet 11+ course meal including the freshest, rarest and most delectable ingredients you’ll ever eat. A beverage pairing is available for an additional charge, as well as an a la carte beverage menu. Upstairs in the cozy loft courses one through four were served.
