Gingham Dress in the Sunflowers

I’ve always wanted to shoot blog pics in a field of sunflowers. Growing up in New England, I took the foliage for granted. Well well well…yesterday we set out to cross this photoshoot off of my bucket list. It turned into quite an adventure after the farmer kindly asked us to remove ourselves from the property. Whoops! Luckily the sunflowers in Connecticut are abundant, and we relocated to another sunflower field before the sun went down. So what does a city girl wear in the country, you may ask?! A gingham dress with a twist…literally and figuratively!     I thought it would be fun to showcase this gingham dress two ways: casual in the country side, and “extra” in NYC. I’m far from basic. In fact, my version of classic is classical funk! This black and white number is not your average gingham dress. The fit and flare silhouette is bodacious and the cutout halter design adds an edgy flair. Rainbow Pumps + Labor Day Sales

I am not going to lie, since I bought my rainbow pumps, I take advantage of every opportunity to wear them! That includes bath time for GG. If you don’t believe me, consider this another reason to follow my Instagram stories! I’m not THAT extra, but the best way to break in a new pair of high heels is doing your housework in ’em. When in Vegas, Wear a Rose Gold Wrap Dress!

The next time you’re on a trip, take advantage of you anonymity and wear something out of the box. I’ve had this rose gold wrap Kardashian-esque dress in my closet since June. I’m so glad I saved it because I had a blast wearing it over the weekend in the desert!     Eating and Dancing in Vegas Now that you know what to wear, where to stay, and what to see in Las Vegas, let’s talk food and dancing! Weekending in Las Vegas the “Right Way”

If you follow me on Instagram then you know I was in Las Vegas over the weekend. I had every intention of taking an #ootd pic wearing this jumpsuit, but sometimes you gotta live a little. I am a one man show.  It is hard to be a content creator, editor, stage manager, model, and friend at the same time. This trip was a mini college reunion with a group of girls I met in 2006. We all live in different cities across the country, but we pick up where we left off whenever we are together. It was very therapeutic just being “present” and not as obsessed with my phone. So, here I am in San Francisco, suiting back up in my Vegas attire so that I can share it with you!     Play it Cool at the LINQ Las Vegas Las Vegas is so easy to get to, but it is not necessarily the easiest place to navigate.
