Plastic Surgeon by day, Instagram husband by…later in the day

Behind the Scenes Blog Finally! It’s here. My opportunity to vent about being an Instagram Husband! Well, not really. About two and half years ago, Kelsey, who I reflexively refer to as KelseyKaplanFashion as though I’m promoting her on my IG or Snap accounts, made a decision. She was already working from home as the Marketing Director for BuildMyBod Health, a separate healthcare price transparency business I started. Not surprisingly, signing up doctors to participate in a price transparency platform wasn’t fulfilling enough.     The epiphany She enjoyed writing but press releases for BuildMyBod didn’t tap into that enjoyment. There was another passion just under the surface. One day, she had an epiphany. Why not combine her writing ability with A Career in Fashion? She always loved fashion. Not just as a shopper but also in a very professional and scholastic way. She graduated in fashion merchandising from LSU and worked as a manager at the fashion forward Rodeo Boutique in Baton Rouge, LA. Hi, my name is Kelsey and I am a petite fashion blogger. I am five feet tall and have been since junior high. Apparently I am good at disguising my lack of height because followers often remark that I appear taller in photos! It took close to three decades, but finally the old timey catch phrase, “time flies when you’re having fun” makes sense. The older you get the faster time passes! How on earth is it already November 8th?! It is time to start thinking about the holiday season. More specifically, festive attire. Consider adding a culotte jumpsuit to your rotation – you won’t regret it.     A black jumpsuit and a LBD are synonymous. They’re elegant, versatile, and they’re reliable. Chartreuse Coat Dress & a Side of Polka Dots

I have a crush on the color chartreuse. Not only is it a happy hue, but it is unique. Remember, I am the girl who leaves the Gucci store with a bright yellow purse – #basic! Today we feature a charming coat dress in you guessed it, my favorite, chartreuse.     The coat dress ia a #bosslady’s secret weapon during the cold weather months. We all have crazy busy days where outfit planning simply does not fit into the equation. Fortunately, a reliable coat dress can play two roles: outerwear and daytime wear. Who doesn’t appreciate a two-for-one deal?! Rather than coordinating an entire ensemble, let a coat dress do the thinking and maybe even the talking for you!     So how does one dress in a statement color without looking like a clown?! The answer is rather simple: combine it with classics! In this instance I am wearing a loud coat dress with black and white polka dot pants.
