Gold Pleated Dress

Hi my name is Kelsey and I have a passion for fashion. Nothing shocking about that statement, right? But what is alarming is that I am wearing a: long, dark, dropped waist, gold pleated dress, and loving it! Never say never. Although slightly different from my assortment of spicy pink numbers, this item is surprisingly flattering and would make a great addition to your holiday party dress rotation!     When you’re doubtful of an item, but willing to give it a try, make it unapollogetically yours. What I mean is, add your signature flair! At first glance this dress appears too conservative to fit in with my funky collection. But the gold shimmer detail and pleats convinced me to buy it anyway. Have you ever shopped at Shein? Despite the questionable website design, it’s legit and so are the rock bottom prices. This dress was only $30 and part of the reason I was willing to step out of my comfort zone. Sequin Suit for the Holidays

It is the most sparkly time of the year…in fashion! I wear sparkles and glam all year round, but it is during the holiday months where my affinity for sequins is socially accepted 24/7 (insert laughing emoji). Rule breaker over here! Just when I thought I found my favorite glitzy dress of all time, Current Clothing receives this sequin suit. Can I get an amen?!     Behind the Blog (BTB) As with every blog shoot, there is a story “behind the blog.” Last Friday night I wore this outfit to Bix. If you haven’t been there yet, it is an old timey San Francisco institution that sits in the heart of Jackson Square. Think wood paneled bar and live piano player…plus it’s home to the city’s best martinis. The glasses are chilled on ice, and the blue cheese olives are divine. Well, I’m never not jumping at the opportunity for an outfit pic, and last Friday was no exception!
