K-DEER Ombre Pants: From the Barre to the Bar

If you catch me on the street in something other than blog clothes, chances are high I’m decked out in activewear. The Bar Method is my home away from home. Attending class five times per week, my exercise clothes play an important role in my life. There is no better way to get motivated to hit the gym than with a brand new outfit, so I will be showcasing some of my favorite workout fashions, beginning with these K-DEER ombre pants. I hope these posts inspire you to reach your fitness goals, and look darn good while you’re doing it. I am extraordinarily picky when it comes to workout attire. The last thing I want to do is worry about my garb in the heat of the moment. Super Bowl Outfit

It’s Super Bowl week! Who’s excited?! Even if your team did not make it into the big game, or you are not a fan of professional sports, Super Bowl Sunday remains a quintessential American party-day. And along with a special occasion comes an excuse to get dressed up! Today I am sharing with you my 2016 Super Bowl outfit. Levi’s Stadium (the San Francisco 49ers stadium) is home to Superbowl 50. Over the next week, football themed events and concerts are taking place throughout the city. Guess who is going to the Metallica concert Saturday night?! This girl! While I do not leisurely head-bang to heavy metal music, my hubby often listens to Metallica in the OR – to each his own. Head-banger or not, it happens to be the perfect occasion to rock my Super Bowl outfit. Valentine’s Day Outfit Number Two

As promised in my article Valentine’s Day Dress, I will be showcasing different looks appropriate for the big Sunday up until the 14th. Hooray! The day is here! Today I am happy to share with you my second Valentine’s Day Outfit – a pink two-piece dress set. I have become a big fan of matching separates. They are as polished as a one-piece, yet there is something so chic about them. Plus, you are essentially getting three looks in one – I think we all appreciate that. If you follow me on Instagram, then you might recognize this fab pink print. Boy am I glad you all encouraged me to buy both items! This might just be my all time favorite Valentine’s Day outfit. Wish List Wednesday: Techy Fashionista

Your electronic devices make just as much of a fashion statement as the clothes on your back! Dress them up with these fabulous finds, you techy fashionista! Who would have thought that balls of fluff would be the new “it” thing?! It sounds silly, but designer pom poms are saturating the fashion industry in all shapes and forms. From key chains, beanies, to phone cases, these funny little things have never looked so good. I am crazy in love with the Fur and Tassel iPhone case from Pretty in Pynk! Available in light pink, bright pink, and gray, act fast before they’re all gone. Cape Cardigan and Skinny Flares

The only thing better than a chunky cardigan, is a cape cardigan! These cozy garments make wrapping up in a blanket, in public, totally acceptable! With a trip to Sedona quickly approaching, I’m starting to collect desert friendly pieces, and this cape cardigan is one of them. My favorite five minute outfit is black on black with a pop of color. The color can come in many shapes or forms. Maybe it is your shoes, lipstick, or purse. In this instance, the turquoise cape cardigan was my splash of color. Underneath I paired skinny flares (this is not a typo) with a cold-shoulder mock-neck top from Current Clothing. When your ensemble isn’t amenable to a necklace, a good compromise is to wear a top with an interesting neckline. I accessorized with a gold tassel bracelet and fab floppy hat (thanks to the ladies of Jest Jewels!). About those skinny flares…where have they been my whole life?!
