Just like jean pants, jean shorts are a wardrobe staple. And as much as I am a fan of distressed denim, I am a fan of cutoff denim shorts. The last time I wore this floral embroidered pair was in Napa Valley for Valentine’s Day. With the change of scenery I mixed things up this time with a white blouse and flatform sandals.
The Frilled Cut-Out Shoulder Shirt from Zara is a fun take on the traditional white button down. Featuring a dramatic ruffle detail, wear it as a sleeveless top or pull it down over your arms as an off-the-shoulder blouse. For a laid back night at the resort, full of Mai Tais, I rocked this top with my floral embroidered jean shorts (last seen here). I accessorized with a white clutch and gold sandals, going for a casual beachy look. If you are in the market for a pair of summer heels that are easy to walk in, look no further than the Sabbie espadrille platform. These beauts provide you the comfort of a flat without sacrificing the height – the perfect combination if you ask me! Stay tuned for a guide to Maui and a deeper look into some of the tastiest restaurants on the island. Happy Friday!
