Two-Piece Pants Suit for Day or Nighttime Wear

Black on black is a holiday-friendly dress combination. It is simply chic and appropriate both in and out of the office. Add some glitter here, or some sparkle there, and just like that you’re party ready. Read on to find out how I styled this two-piece pants suit for day and nighttime wear.

If you were “blessed” with a petite frame, palazzo pants will do you wonders. They have the same affect as stilts! I never pass up a well fitting pair. It is your lucky day because Current Clothing (415-400-5517) has them in stock and they’re FABULOUS! For a day at the office, I paired them with the crop top from yesterday’s post, and topped it with a short cape blazer. Fast forward to the weekend…

We were invited to a Great Gatsby themed housewarming party. While it would have been the appropriate time to break out the fringe and pearls, I just wasn’t feelin’ it. A cold front moved through the Bay Area and a dress was out of the question. Thanks to Marina William’s Etsy shop, I was able to get another use out of this two-piece pants suit!

Now do you see what a little sparkle can do?! This 1920’s beaded headpiece transformed my two-piece pants suit from work to play.
