How to Wear a Suede Vest Day or Night

I’ve been yearning for a suede vest for quite some time now, so when I spotted this cognac dazzler (similar here), at Marmalade boutique, I had to have it! Cognac apparel is very appealing because of its versatality – it matches with black or brown accessories.

I was going for a comfortable daytime look that could also pass for happy hour attire, so I paired the vest with a simple white tunic and a pair of black tie dye leggings (both from Liv Fashion Boutique ). Effortlessly spruce up an ensemble by throwing on some printed leggings. To make the white shirt more interesting, I layered a statement necklace with my everyday Roberto Coin pendant. Although a pair of flat boots would have been adequate, I styled this outfit with black knee-high heeled boots. After 5:00 pm, the high-heels come out, so if they’re comfortable, save yourself the trouble and rock ’em all day long!

Don’t have a pair of printed leggings? No worries, a pair of dark wash skinny jeans would be the perfect substitute, and if you’re more partial to brown, go ahead and break out your brown boots.
