Wish List Wednesday: Mod Camera Accessories

The life of a fashionista can be a bit exhausting at times. What I mean by that is that you are no longer satisfied with the “simple things.” Your dog’s nylon leash is no longer adequate – you must have the beaded one. The silicone iPhone case is too plain…you need the metallic one covered in sparkles. Catch my drift?! After my sweet hubby gifted me with a brand new DSLR camera in October, he kindly suggested I purchase a camera bag to protect it…DUH DUH DUH! It is now the first week of January and I am still bagless. Who knew it would be so hard to find an attractive camera bag?! The most important ancillary item to all of your photography equipment is a camera bag. Your prized possession is essentially another set of eyes documenting your story – handle it with care. If you are a photography aficionado, then you know how important it is to protect your lens! Without a proper lens, there will be no pictures. If you are like me, then you remove you lens cap and put it down on the first clean surface in sight. I cannot tell you how many times I have misplaced this little thing around the house. The Cap Savers, my friends, are the perfect solution! Cute as a button (literally and figuratively), gently hang this concoction around the barrel of your lens, and attach the decorative disk to the front of your lens cap. Ta-da!

 

 

Finally, before shooting a pic, I highly recommend securing the camera around your neck with a neck strap. These babies are way to fragile to live through a tragic drop. While I appreciate that a complimentary black strap was included with my camera, in no way shape or form is it glamorous!
