The streets of San Francisco were quieter this weekend. Some say it was because of the ever famous music festival, Coachella, down in Palm Springs. Regardless, we took advantage of the warm weather with photo shoots, a road race, and a shorter line at Sol Food’s Mill Valley location. If you have an affection for Puerto Rican cuisine, do yourself a favor and pig out at this “cafeteria.” Anyway, attending the festival and dressing in fest attire are not mutually exclusive. No matter where you are, it is still fun to showcase your favorite festival fashions!
That is exactly why I rocked this knit fringe number over the weekend. If you are in the market for a swimsuit coverup, spring dress, or spring sweater, this piece can pass for all of those things. Not bad for $34.99! Please keep in mind that I am 5 feet tall so it fits me more like a dress. Anyway, I slipped a full length cami underneath it and kept the styling simple with taupe platform mules. Because no outfit is complete without the right accessories, I added a pop of color by incorporating turquoise earrings, and hanging a colorful scarf off of my purse. The old scarf trick is a fashion hack worth taking note of.
