Last week on IG I made a joke that I wanted to renew my vows just so that I could wear this lace romper. While it is certainly true that this hot number is PERFECT for a bride, it will effortlessly “up” anyone’s style game! Now that’s a lot of power for a $42 item! Even though we were definitely not exchanging any vows, I still managed to get in a few engagement-style photos with Jonathan. But more about his cameo appearance later…
Serious Question: what can you get for $42 these days? Considering our two salads and drinks yesterday were well over $42, it ain’t lunch for two! This lace romper is a bargain. It looks like Free People but fits better than FP (I have always found their garments a hard fit for petite women). It exudes femininity and class. If you are in the market for a standout piece, this is it! As a lover of all things glam, I dressed this item with sparkly rose gold accents. But the truth is, it would look just as stylish dressed down with a fringe purse and western-style ankle boots.
Speaking of shoes…do you start your evening in heels and end it in flats? I must admit, this is new territory for me. I LOVE my So Kate Louboutins, but the maximum wear time is four hours. That’s when these slingback flats come into play! When you buy Shoes of Prey, you can design a pair of flats that emulate your favorite high heels. EVERYTHING right down to the inscription along the insole of the shoe is customizable. No need to sacrifice style when I swap my Loubs for these pretty little things. Be sure to tune in to Instagram tonight (@kelseykaplanfashion) for an exciting joint giveaway! Hint hint: red soles.
