Yellow is the new neutral. I bet you didn’t guess that’s where I was going with this post. #Sarcasm! I am and forever will be a lover of color. Some people think color is impractical – I think it is endearing. But apparently I am not the only one who feels this way. Some of the world’s hottest fashionistas are sporting 50 shades of yellow. To me, it is a happy hue. It means summer and the sunshine are on the way. This spring I challenge you to try something different and wear a new color! Here’s why I love wearing yellow and why you might consider adding this sunny hue to your wardrobe.
Embodies Confidence
Yellow embodies confidence. It is not a good color for a wallflower. If you wear yellow, you’re telling the world you are bold and fearless. Let your clothes do the talking for you. Move over pink power suit, yellow is coming through!
Wear it With Everything
Newsflash: Yellow is the new khaki. In fact, the only color I would not pair with yellow is orange. Pink and yellow – love it. Purple and gold – Geaux Tigers! Catch my drift? Step out of the box and substitute the khaki and gray with yellow tones.
I hear you, yellow pants are a little aggressive for a newbie. Start small (think purse) and work up the courage to go big or go home!
