City Girl Takes the Country in Volkswagen Beetle

Text Convo with my Mom:

Mom: I’m shopping for a car, do you like this one? [sends photo of Volkswagen Beetle ]
Me: Love it. How fast can you get it?
Mom: Not sure, why?
Me: Because it would make a really cute prop for blog pics while I’m there next week.

True story! No my mom did not buy a vehicle just so that I could take a cute pic, but I am so glad that we have the same taste in cars :). Now how can I kidnap this little bug and bring it back to San Francisco?! Insert all the heart eyes.

What do you get when you put a city girl in the country?! An over dressed gal who sinks in the grass in her four inch high heels. Hurry – someone send the solmates! All joking aside, I love this outfit because it’s practical. I will be the first to admit that my clothes are not the most practical of items. But this sweet peplum top is coming to the rescue and it is the perfect hue for the summer. It will look great with all of your short or long denim – white included. But when you are “blessed” with a petite frame, you are always thinking of ways to elongate the appearance of your legs. I am here to tell you the shorter the better when it comes to jean shorts. Now take it a step further and add a nude high heel to the mix. Voila! Just like that you’re virtually taller.

This was my first time riding in a Volkswagen Beetle. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort in the front seat. It was very easy to drive and handled the New England countryside so well. To all of my fashionable friends…if you are in the market for a stylish vehicle, the Volkswagen Beetle is it! A special shoutout is in order to Mitchell Volkswagen for making car shopping a breeze. This is sixth or seventh vehicle my family has purchased from Mitchell. I guess you can call us creatures of habit?!
